From Jacksonville: Take Hwy 24 East, past Hubert, to Belgrade Swansboro Road (just before the speed limit drops to 45 as you near Food Lion on the right).  Take a left and follow road to Breezy Meadows Farm and Stables.  Look for the signs.

From Morehead City: Take Hwy 24 West, through Swansboro.  Just past Food Lion (on left) you will come to the Swansboro Public Library (on right).  Take the first right past the library (Belgrade Swansboro Road).  Follow road to Breezy Meadows Farm and Stables.  Look for the signs.

From New Bern:
Take Hwy 17 South, through Pollocksville and Maysville.  Turn left onto Belgrade Swansboro Road.  Follow road several miles to Breezy Meadows Farm and Stables.  Look for the signs.

From Wilmington:
Take Hwy 17 North and turn right onto Hwy 172 at Folkstone.  Follow Hwy 172 through Sneads Ferry and Camp Lejeune, to Hwy 24 (first light off the base).  Turn right and follow Hwy 24 past Hubert, to Belgrade Swansboro Road (just before the speed limit drops to 45 as you near Food Lion on the right).  Take a left and follow road to Breezy Meadows Farm and Stables.  Look for the signs.

THINGS TO DO IN AREA
Breezy Meadows is located just minutes from historic Swansboro and the surrounding communites of Hubert, Jacksonville, Cape Carteret, Emerald Isle, Topsail Island, and Sneads Ferry.

Swansboro is a water-oriented community situated directly on the Intracoastal Waterway and bordering the White Oak River.

The ferry to Hammocks Beach State Park with its unspoiled beaches originates in Swansboro.  The Croatan National Forest borders the White Oak River just northeast, and the beaches and accomodations of Emerald Isle are only minutes away.


                                         ATTRACTIONS/POINTS OF INTEREST

Beirut Memorial - The monument is a tribute to the 269 US Marines and Sailors from Camp Lejeune who lost their lives in the barracks bombing in Beirut, Lebanon, in 1983.

Swansboro Historic District & Bicentennial Park - Listed in the National Registry of Historic Places.  The park was built to celebrate the towns 200th birthday.  Maps are available from the Swansboro Area Chamber.

Hubert By-Pass Park - Approximately 6 miles west of Swansboro offers jogging/fitness trails, 2 open picnic areas, picnic pavilion with grils and tables, tot-lot with play equipment, paved basketvall court, sand vollleyball court, senior citizens area.

Golf courses in immediate area.

Beaches/Marinas/Pier Fishing nearby.

Recreation places with mini-golf, go-carts, bumper boats, arcades nearby.

You will find a wide variety of choices for you dining pleasure.  Everything from local fresh seafood, oyster bars, steakhouses, Italian and Oriental cuisine, cafes, pizza, fast food establishments, etc.  Pretty much anything to your liking.

Many hotels/motels are in the area.  With this being a tourist area, rooms are plentiful.
